Tyler S. Ralston is an author and/or co-author of 36 patents, 50 papers with 1300+ citations, 3 book contributions with 42 presentations at international conferences, and 18 invited presentations. Much of this work has been covered by the media/press in numerous articles, e.g., Wired, Forbes, BBC, CNN, and more. Tyler has contributed to many novel imaging systems for industry and research, including 4 medical products while at Battelle, a multi-modal real-time 3D microscope during his Ph.D., radar and optical systems at MIT Lincoln Laboratory, and gamma ray imaging systems at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Tyler is a co-founder of Butterfly Network, Inc and a contributor across 4Catalyzer companies, leading the biomedical imaging efforts to enable fully capable system architectures that meet the business and market needs for company viability. As a technical fellow, he contributes to key technical demonstrations and presentations to secure external investments in Butterfly Network and Hyperfine Research.
