TANGO DE LOS MUERTOS BEGINNING WORKSHOPS

In conjunction with Tango de los Muertos tango festival, the MIT Argentine Tango Club hosts Beginning Tango workshops with two of North America's best-loved tango instructors: Robin Thomas and Kyla Mares. The classes will be held at the MIT Stratton Student Center in Cambridge. The workshops on Saturday are intended for total Beginners or people who want to review their basics, and the workshops on Sunday are for Advanced Beginning Argentine Tango dancers and people who took the previous day's classes. FUN WORKSHOPS WITH FELIPE AND ROSA

Octrober 4th and 5th MIT Tango Club invited Felipe Martinez and Rosa Corisco to teach two days of workshops. We would like to thank all those who attended as well as our volunteers who made the workshops possible. We hope that you all have fun and will take our workshops again in the future.

NEW CLASSES

We have reorganized our classes. First of all there are more of them. A lot more. And now they are much better integrated. So no matter whether you've never danced a step in your life or are a seasoned Tanguero, we have classes appropriate for your level, and a way for you to keep learning more. LOOKING FOR OFFICERS AND VOLUNTEERS

We are looking for a few good women and men to help us do cool tango things. The needs mainly fall into three areas: a) volunteering for MIT tango events b) Becoming an MIT Tango Club Officer and c) DJ-ing/hosting our free practica. All of the volunteers get cool benefits like free entrances to some (or all) MIT Tango club milongas, workshops. You can also help us decide which direction the MIT Tango Club should go in.
