I’m Felix Sosa, a cognitive scientist. Obviously people are more than what they do, but I spend most of time thinking about why myself and others learn, think, and act the way that we do. Can't seem to help it.
I got my PhD in cognitive science at Harvard, where I was lucky to be advised by very clever and rigorous cognitive scientists. My hope was that I’d finally be able to understand why myself and others learn, think, and act the way we do. What I learned was that we don’t really know that much about how the mind works. Inspired by (productive) frustration, and acutely aware of the current trends in our economy, I founded a frontier lab for human intelligence that is currently in stealth. I now spend my time with the same questions but at a greater scale than was possible in academia, and with a genuine connection to real people in the real world.
If you’re an ambitious and bright researcher in the space of cognitive science, deep learning, or the science of intelligence more broadly, and you’re dead set on figuring out what’s going on inside the minds of people, reach out. We’re building a world-class team that does just that.
