I
am a PhD student at MIT in Architecture
and Computer Graphics.
My current research focuses on modeling mechanics of masonry structures.
My co-advisors are John
Ochsendorf, and Fredo
Durand. I also collaborate with Barb Cutler at RPI.
I
received my M.S. in Design
& Computation from MIT in June 2006. My thesis research with
Seth Teller focused
on automatic interpretation of CAD drawings.
I
received my B.A.Sc. in Engineering
Science from the University of Toronto in June 2004. My senior
thesis was on high dynamic range images, under the direction of Sabry
El-Hakim and Demetri Terzopoulos.
From
2001-2004 I spent my summers as a research assistant at NRC-Canada
in the Visual
Information Technology group, working on image-based modeling.
In the summer of 2005 I worked in Trento, Italy with NRC collaborators
on a castle modeling project.
In my spare time I enjoy hiking and playing flute in the MIT Symphony Orchestra.
